MUSEUMS, INTERPRETIVE CENTRES AND ATTRACTIONS

EPG Victoria has conducted a number of projects for museums, interpretive centres, and attractions. The firm brings a business management perspective to cultural planning and analysis, and is involved in both project start-ups and expansions or repositioning of existing facilities. Typical assignments include market forecasting, feasibility studies and business planning. Specific work program steps vary with the project, but can involve some or all of the following tasks:

Define problems, issues and scope of work
Develop project methodology
Conduct situation analysis
Review financial statements and attendance records
Conduct surveys of facility patrons and area residents
Interview stakeholders
Review performance of competitive and compatible facilities
Analyze attendance and market trends
